Claudia Rosenbach-Ziembinski has been a registered Clinical Psychologist in Western Australia since 1991. A practising psychotherapist with 35 years of experience across private practice in both Perth and Berlin, she sees individuals, couples and families in Margaret River. Claudia works in both English and German.
Prior to completing her studies in Clinical Psychology, Claudia worked for ten years as a high school teacher and school counsellor in Berlin, an experience that continues to inform her warm, grounded approach to therapy.
Her special therapeutic interests include working with depression and anxiety; family and relationship difficulties such as parenting, separation and step-family issues; teenagers and young adults; people navigating midlife and ageing-related concerns; gay and lesbian clients; and individuals who have migrated from other cultures. Claudia works with both individuals and couples.
Claudia is the Co-Director of the Gestalt Training Institute West Australia and in this role is involved in training psychotherapists both in Perth and other centres in Australia, as well as overseas. She is also a Guest Faculty Trainer each year at Gestalt Associates Training Los Angeles' two week Residential Training Program in Europe, since 1997. Claudia also offers ongoing professional supervision to training and practising psychotherapists and psychologists.
Rebates
As a registered Clinical Psychologist, clients seeing Claudia may be able to claim rebates through their Private Health Insurance. With a referral from a General Practitioner, clients may alternatively claim Medicare rebates under the Better Access to Psychological Services scheme.
